About the Crestron SSC-100-EL-USB

The two-sided acrylic sign face is lit by edgelit RGB LEDs and is clearly visible at 150 ft (46 m). Connected by USB to a room scheduling touch screen, it alternates between red and green to show room availability, and custom functionality is possible through a Crestron control system. This part number has no engraving; Crestron's engraving option allows one or two lines per side, with the same text or icon on each side.

It connects to a TSW-70 or TSW-80 series touch screen through a USB 2.0 device port (micro USB Type B), using the included plenum-rated 15 ft (4.57 m) micro B to A cable, and a TSW-80 screen needs the included adapter. It can also run as a Cresnet client through a 4-pin 3.5 mm terminal block, with its ID set by a CNET ID button behind the bezel. It uses 2.4 W from either USB at 5V or Cresnet at 24VDC.

The sign mounts flush in a drywall or drop-tile ceiling using four integral swivelling dogs, through a 2.0 in. x 10.4 in. (51 mm x 264 mm) recommended cutout. It measures 6.63 in. (169 mm) high, 2.82 in. (72 mm) wide and 11.11 in. (282 mm) deep, and projects 5.18 in. (132 mm) from the ceiling. The bracket is metal, with a replaceable grey acrylic sign face and a magnetically held white bezel.
