About the Crestron MPB4-301

The five assignable push buttons take replaceable labels: 25 predesignated labels and five blank ones are included, and custom laser-etched labels are also available. Volume is set with a continuous-turn rotary knob ringed by a blue LED circular gauge that shows the level, while power and mute are projected capacitive buttons. All buttons are backlit white when inactive and blue when active, with automatic brightness control.

The panel connects to the network through one RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port, which also powers it as an IEEE 802.3at Type 2 PoE+ powered device. It requests 15 W from an 802.3at Type 2 PSE (power sourcing equipment) using LLDP power management and typically uses 8.5 W. Installer setup is available through software, a web browser or the cloud, XiO Cloud provides provisioning and management, and the panel is IPv6 ready.

It mounts flush on a wall or lectern in a 2-gang electrical box. The housing is plastic with a metal mounting plate and a removable front panel that can be secured with an optional security screw, and it measures 114 mm high, 126 mm wide and 61 mm deep.
