About the Crestron IV-SAM-VX2
The IV-SAM-VX2-S uses data from the room microphones to locate the active speaker and cut to the right camera, while visual AI frames and reframes each shot. Its switching algorithm follows the conversation to avoid cutting too often. It supports intelligent array microphones, wired and wireless microphones and discussion systems, and controls Crestron 1 Beyond PTZ and tracking cameras over IP, including 12x and 20x models.
Cameras connect through three 3G-SDI inputs or up to five NDI|HX streams, and the system outputs SDI and NDI streams, with an HDMI 2.0b output as well. An SDI to USB-A 3.0 converter is included for connecting to an external conferencing codec running Microsoft Teams. The built-in encoder streams to any RTMP server and records MP4 (H.264) or MOV files to a 316 GB internal SSD, and titles, logos and custom layouts can be added.
Setup uses the browser-based Room Designer, which lays out cameras and microphones graphically without code, and room configurations can switch between furniture layouts with one button push. A REST API over TCP allows third party control. The steel chassis stands freely or fits 2U of a 19 in rack, with rack ears included, and draws 400 W from 100 to 240 VAC. It measures 88 mm high, 427 mm wide and 389 mm deep.

Does the IV-SAM-VX2 come with a warranty?
Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the IV-SAM-VX2 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
