About the Crestron UC-B70

The Videobar 70 puts cameras, microphones, speakers, a DSP and Microsoft Teams Rooms software into one Android OS based enclosure. A 20 megapixel main camera with a 1 in. sensor works with left, centre and right sub cameras at 3840 x 2160, and 7.5x digital autozoom. Audio comes from dual 10 W speakers and a 24 mic linear array with echo cancellation, dereverberation, noise suppression and adaptive beamforming.

The 10 in. tabletop touch screen (1920 x 1200) runs the native Microsoft Teams Rooms controller interface with one-touch meeting join, and is powered by PoE+. Content can be shared through the HDMI input on the Videobar 70 or by direct sharing. Crestron designs the kit to deploy without custom design, programming or software installation, and the XiO Cloud service, available separately, adds provisioning, network management and system alerts.

The Videobar 70 mounts on a wall with its integrated tilting bracket, and Crestron offers optional desktop stand and display bracket accessories. It measures 980 mm long, 110 mm high and 96 mm deep and weighs 6 kg. Displays are not included. The Videobar connects over 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and dual band Wi-Fi 6. What is included in the Crestron UC-B70 kit?

The UC-B70-A-T-I kit includes the Crestron Videobar 70 (UC-SB2-CAM-A-T-I), a TS-1070-B-S-T-A 10 in. tabletop touch screen, a PWE-4803RU PoE injector, CBL-CAT5E-7 and DM-CBL-ULTRA-PC-20 Ethernet cables, two CBL-8K-HD-6 HDMI 2.1 cables and one CBL-8K-HD-9 HDMI 2.1 cable. Displays are not included.

Which conferencing platform does the UC-B70 run?

This kit is for Microsoft Teams Rooms. The Videobar 70 runs Microsoft Teams Rooms as its UC client on Android OS, and the tabletop touch screen shows the native Teams Rooms controller interface with one-touch meeting join. Crestron lists a separate kit, the UC-B70-A-Z, for Zoom Rooms software.

What cameras and microphones does the Videobar 70 have?

It has a quad camera setup: a 20 megapixel main camera with a 1 in. sensor and an 84.3° horizontal field of view, plus left, centre and right sub cameras at 3840 x 2160 with 14° overlap, and 7.5x digital autozoom. Audio pickup uses a 24 mic linear array with adaptive beamforming.

How is the UC-B70 touch screen powered?

The 10 in. tabletop touch screen is an IEEE 802.3at Type 2 compliant PoE+ powered device. It connects over 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and normally requests 15 W from an 802.3at Type 2 PSE that uses LLDP power management. The kit also includes a PWE-4803RU PoE injector.

How is the Videobar 70 mounted?

It wall mounts using its integrated tilting bracket, and optional desktop stand and display bracket accessories are also offered. The bar is 980 mm long, 110 mm high and 96 mm deep, or 162 mm high and 101 mm deep with the bracket, and it weighs 6 kg.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the UC-B70 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Does the UC-B70 come with a warranty?

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the UC-B70 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Is the UC-B70 in stock?

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Can I buy the UC-B70 without installation?

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
