About the Crestron IV-CAM-I12
The IV-CAM-I12 has a dual camera design: a wide-angle reference camera with a 104° horizontal view works alongside the 12x PTZ camera, which pans, tilts and zooms automatically with no external computer needed. Intelligent functions include Group Framing, Presenter Tracking and Intelligent Switching. Crestron recommends 5 to 25 ft (1.5 to 7.6 m) for group framing and 15 to 25 ft (4.6 to 7.6 m) for presenter tracking, and up to 256 presets can be stored.
Video leaves the camera at up to 1080p60 over 3G-SDI and HDMI, and at up to 1080p30 over USB, with NDI|HX2, RTSP, ONVIF and UVC also supported. It connects directly to a codec or a recording or streaming device. Control runs over Ethernet, RS-232 or RS-485 using VISCA, PELCO-D, PELCO-P or ONVIF, and the IV-CAMA-REMOTE IR camera remote is supported. Two cameras can be combined for multi-camera switching, and it works with Automate VX systems.
A single Ethernet connection provides power (PoE, IEEE 802.3af Class 3), viewing and control, or the camera can run from a PW-1225DU 12 VDC power pack, sold separately. Each camera needs a mounting accessory, also sold separately, such as the IV-CAMA-UMB universal bracket or IVA-WMT-BRKT-1B wall bracket. Does the IV-CAM-I12 need a mount?
Yes. Each camera requires a mounting accessory, bought separately. Crestron lists options including the IV-CAMA-UMB 1 Beyond Universal Mounting Bracket and the IVA-WMT-BRKT-1B 1 Beyond Wall Mount Bracket, with shelf, wall and suspended ceiling mounts available. The camera also has a 1/4 in threaded mount hole.
