Crestron DM-NVX-DIR2 DM NVX Director Network AV Switching Appliance

It is a DM NVX Director network AV switching appliance. It configures, controls and manages an AV network of DM NVX encoders and decoders, emulating a traditional hardware DM matrix switcher, and supports up to 100 endpoints in 20 domains through a web-based graphical user interface.

The DM-NVX-DIR2 supports up to 100 endpoints and 20 domains and is built on a Dell OptiPlex 7080 Micro computer with an external power adapter. The DM-NVX-DIR-ENT supports 1000 endpoints and 240 domains in a 1 RU rack chassis with copper and fibre LAN ports and hot-swappable redundant power supplies.

It is based on a Dell OptiPlex 7080 Micro desktop computer with an Intel Core i5-10500T processor at 2.30 GHz, 8 GB of DDR4 memory, a 256 GB SSD and Intel UHD Graphics 630. It runs AlmaLinux OS 9.5 and uses an Intel I219-LM 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port.

Configuration, routing and management are done through its web-based graphical user interface. For optional command line configuration, a monitor can be connected by HDMI or DisplayPort and a keyboard or mouse by USB. Several front connectors, including the audio jacks and USB-C port, and the wireless antenna slots are not used.

It runs from the included power adapter, which takes 100 to 240 V AC and supplies 130 W at 19.5 VDC. The metal and plastic enclosure is 36 mm high, 183 mm wide and 178 mm deep, and can be freestanding or fixed with an optional VESA mount. A Kensington lock slot is provided.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DM-NVX-DIR2 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DM-NVX-DIR2 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
