About the Crestron DM-NVX-DIR-ENT

The DM-NVX-DIR-ENT automatically discovers up to 1000 DM NVX endpoints on the network, and each one can be assigned as a logical input or output within a domain. Up to 240 domains group endpoints into separate subsystems, and interdomain routing lets inputs in one domain reach outputs in others. Routing is controlled from the web interface or through control system programming, with full control of virtual matrices and physical endpoints.

The web-based interface handles system configuration, signal routing and diagnostics, and every domain, endpoint, input and output can be given a user-friendly name. The appliance also manages multicast addresses and DM NVX endpoint credentials. Network connections include a management port, six RJ-45 Gigabit ports, two 10GBASE-X SFP+ ports for Crestron SFP-10G transceivers and four SFP+ ports for 1000BASE-X or 10GBASE-X, so copper and fibre LANs are both supported.

Two hot-swappable power supply modules and two IEC 60320 C14 inlets, with power cords included, keep the unit running at full capacity on one working module, and a red MSG LED flags a power supply fault. Power consumption is 140 W at full CPU load and fan speed. The 1 RU chassis fits a 19-inch rack with the included brackets or stands freely, and is 44 mm high, 445 mm wide and 477 mm deep without brackets.
