Crestron DM-NAX-BTIO-100-1G DM NAX Bluetooth Audio-over-IP Wall Plate

It is a 1-gang DM NAX audio-over-IP wall plate with Bluetooth 5.4 and a wired 3.5 mm line input and output. It encodes and decodes DM NAX and AES67 audio, routes it to or from other DM NAX and DM NVX devices, and has an OLED display with buttons for pairing and menus.

A dedicated Bluetooth button on the front panel starts pairing. As a receiver the plate is a Bluetooth 5.4 sink device that recalls up to seven previously paired devices, and pairing can be persistent or non-persistent. The OLED display shows metadata and the setup menus.

Crestron lists stereo Bluetooth wireless as both an input and an output signal type, alongside the unbalanced stereo analogue line-level input and output and DM NAX or AES67 audio-over-IP. The front panel up and down buttons are used for menu navigation and volume control.

It is powered by Power over Ethernet, compliant with IEEE 802.3af Class 0, from an IEEE 802.3af compliant Ethernet switch or third-party PoE source. Power consumption is 3.5 W, and the same RJ-45 port carries the DM NAX audio-over-IP connection at 100 or 1000 Mbps.

It mounts in a 1-gang electrical box or plaster ring, which is not included, or on a rack rail using the included hardware. The metal chassis has a black and silver finish with vented sides and measures 105 mm high, 45 mm wide and 57 mm deep.
