About the Crestron DM-NAX-AUD-IO
The DM-NAX-AUD-IO turns an analogue line-level source into a DM NAX or AES67 stream, and turns a network stream back into an analogue line-level output. Input and output are on 5-pin detachable terminal blocks and handle up to +21 dBu (8.7 Vrms). It connects directly to a managed network to route audio to or from other DM NAX and DM NVX devices, and is interoperable with Dante devices through AES67.
Crestron quotes a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ±0.5 dB, THD+N of 0.005% and a signal to noise ratio of 110 dB from the line input, measured at the line-level output. Processing includes source compensation of ±10 dB, signal detection, balance and EQ with high pass, low pass, shelf and notch filters. Setup is through a web interface, and SIMPL Windows programming integrates it with a Crestron system.
It is powered by PoE (IEEE 802.3af Class 0) and uses 5 W. The included hardware allows mounting in a 1-gang electrical box or plaster ring (not included), under a table or on a rack rail, and an additional polycarbonate label with rotated text is included to keep the front panel legible. The metal chassis has a black and silver finish and measures 41 mm high, 66 mm wide and 54 mm deep.
