Crestron DM-NAX-8ZSA DM NAX 8-Zone Streaming Amplifier

It is a DM NAX 8-zone streaming amplifier. It powers eight stereo speaker zones, each with its own streaming service player, and puts Crestron multiroom audio distribution on the network using DM NAX and AES67 audio-over-IP. Four stereo line-level outputs mirror zones 1 to 4.

It is rated at 150 W per channel into 8 ohms or 300 W per channel into 4 ohms. Zones can be bridged for up to 500 W per channel into 8 ohms. Power limiting is configurable, and power consumption is 240 W with all channels driven at 1/8 power into 8 ohms.

Yes. Zone configurations include stereo and mono single ended, stereo and mono bridged, bridged 2.1 and bridged 2.1 with a bridged subwoofer. Bridged operation provides up to 500 W per channel at 8 ohms, and output bussing enables linked operation of adjacent zones.

It has four stereo analogue RCA inputs, four S/PDIF digital inputs (two optical and two coaxial) and built-in streaming services with a player per zone. It can also take up to eight stereo DM NAX or AES67 audio-over-IP streams from the network.

It is a 2RU rack-mountable unit with a metal chassis in a black and silver finish and vented sides. It measures 89 mm high, 482 mm wide with rack ears or 439 mm without, and 369 mm deep. Crestron describes it as having low power consumption and cool-running operation.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DM-NAX-8ZSA on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DM-NAX-8ZSA develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
