Crestron DM-NAX-4ZSP DM NAX 4-Zone Streaming Preamplifier

It is a DM NAX 4-zone streaming preamplifier. It provides four stereo line-level zones, each with its own streaming service player, and puts multiroom audio distribution on the network with DM NAX and AES67 audio-over-IP. Its outputs are line level, so it is used with external amplifiers.

Its four stereo line-level outputs feed external amplifiers, and voltage triggers corresponding to those four outputs can power the connected amplifiers on and off. Zones 1 and 2 are also available as balanced stereo outputs on terminal blocks, alongside the unbalanced RCA outputs.

It has four stereo analogue RCA inputs, four S/PDIF digital inputs (two optical and two coaxial) and built-in streaming services with a player for each zone. It can also receive up to four stereo DM NAX or AES67 streams from the network, and is interoperable with Dante devices through AES67.

Yes. Crestron lists voice control support for Crestron Home OS. It also has built-in chime support, output bussing for linked operation of adjacent zones, and full DSP on the line outputs, including EQ, tone profiles, loudness and dynamic range control.

It runs from 100 to 240 V AC through an IEC 60320 C14 inlet, with a removable power cord included, and consumes 15.9 W. It is a 1RU rack-mountable unit, 482 mm wide with rack ears or 439 mm without, 44 mm high and 368 mm deep.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DM-NAX-4ZSP on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DM-NAX-4ZSP develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
