Crestron DM-NAX-4ZSA-50 DM NAX 4+1 Zone Streaming Amplifier, 50 W

It is a DM NAX 4+1 zone streaming amplifier. It amplifies four stereo speaker zones at 50 W per channel, adds a fifth zone as a stereo line-level output, and has a streaming service player for each zone. Audio can also be sent and received over the network as DM NAX or AES67 streams.

It provides 50 W per channel into 4 or 8 ohms on each of its four stereo speaker zones, using Gallium Nitride (GaN) Class D amplification. Power limiting can be set from 5 to 50 W. Power consumption is 50 W with all channels driven at 1/8 power into 8 ohms.

The amplifier has four amplified stereo speaker zones plus one additional zone as an unbalanced stereo line-level output on RCA connectors. That gives five zones in total from one half-width 1RU unit, each with its own streaming service player.

It has two stereo analogue RCA inputs, two S/PDIF digital inputs (one coaxial and one optical) and built-in streaming services, plus up to five stereo DM NAX or AES67 audio-over-IP streams from the network. It is interoperable with Dante devices through AES67 compatibility.

It is 1RU high and half-rack width, and is rack-mountable. The metal chassis has a black and silver finish with vented front and rear panels, and measures 44 mm high, 220 mm wide and 279 mm deep. Speaker zones connect on detachable terminal blocks that take wire up to 12 AWG.
