Crestron CHV-TSTAT-FCU-PIR-10 0-10V Fan-Coil Thermostat with PIR

It is a wall-mounted 0-10V thermostat for fan coil unit HVAC systems, giving variable heating, cooling and fan speed control. It has a built-in PIR sensor to detect when a room is vacant, an extra heating relay, a backlit LCD and Cresnet wired communications.

Fan speed, the cooling valve and the heating valve are controlled by 0-10V signals rated at 20 mA maximum sink or source. Fan speed is not fully modulating and uses four adjustable discrete levels, and heating is not fully modulating either. A separate relay provides a contact closure for traditional heating elements.

The built-in passive infrared sensor detects room vacancy, which helps the thermostat save energy. Crestron designed this model with versatility and energy efficiency in mind for hotels, apartments and other multi-dwelling residences.

Yes. It is a fully functional standalone thermostat and does not need a Cresnet connection. When wired to Cresnet it can be integrated with a Crestron control system or networked. Power requirements are 24VDC from Cresnet and 24VAC from the HVAC unit, at about 1.5 W.

Heating setpoints run from 38 to 89°F (3 to 32°C) and cooling setpoints from 59 to 99°F (15 to 37°C). The built-in sensor measures 0 to 110°F (-18 to 43°C) with ±1°F (±0.5°C) tolerance over the full range. Setpoints change in 1°F or 0.5°C steps.
