About the Crestron CHV-RTS

The sensor reads indoor temperatures from -18 to 43°C and outdoor temperatures from -35 to 49°C, with a tolerance of ±0.5°C over the full range and +0.1/-0.4°C at room temperatures. It connects to the thermostat over a single non-polarised twisted pair and can be mounted up to 152 m (500 ft) away when wired with CAT5 or similar low-capacitance cable.

The one-piece sensor has a cylindrical plastic body and a primed metal cap. It mounts in drywall through a 26 mm (1 in) round hole, with a flush drywall option also listed. For new builds, the MMK-RS pre-construction kit, sold separately, simplifies wiring and positioning at rough-in and lets the sensor be mounted fully flush so it is almost hidden.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CHV-RTS on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Does the CHV-RTS come with a warranty?

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CHV-RTS develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Is the CHV-RTS in stock?

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Can I buy the CHV-RTS without installation?

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
