Crestron DIN-KXI KNX Secure IP Gateway, 1M DIN Rail Mount

It is a KNX Secure IP gateway for DIN rail mounting. It provides a secure Ethernet interface to the KNX TP bus, integrating KNX with a Crestron control system, and can control up to 1,000 KNX datapoints. It occupies a single 1M (18 mm) DIN module space.

Yes. It supports KNXnet/IP Security with AES-128 encryption. It also allows up to 8 simultaneous KNXnet/IP Tunneling connections and uses the cEMI interface protocol on the KNX twisted pair bus.

It is configured using ETS Software. DHCP is enabled by default on the Ethernet port and can be changed in ETS. On-board buttons and LEDs are provided for setup and diagnostics, including a recessed KNX PROG. button for programming mode and factory reset.

It is powered via the KNX bus and draws 20 mA. The two push-in 4-conductor KNX bus connectors, one red (+) and one black (-), carry both power and communications, and a separate RJ-45 port provides 100BASE-TX Ethernet.

The module is 1M (18 mm) wide, 90 mm high and 62 mm deep, and weighs 40 g. It fits a 35 mm DIN EN 60715 rail in enclosures with a 45 mm front panel cutout, and it is rated for -5 to 45 °C and 5% to 93% RH, non-condensing.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DIN-KXI on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DIN-KXI develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
