Crestron DGE-1000 Digital Graphics Engine for HD Touch Screen Displays

It is the Digital Graphics Engine 1000, a unit that turns an HD touch screen display into an advanced Crestron controller. It runs custom interfaces built with Crestron HTML5 technology to control audio, video, lighting, shades, HVAC, security and other systems, and it can display HDMI and streaming video.

It is designed for third-party USB HID-compliant touch screens, connected to its USB 2.0 and 3.0 host ports. Crestron also lists the TSD-2220 touch screen display as compatible. The picture is sent to the display from the HDMI output at up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz.

It shows video full screen or in a dual window from its HDMI input, which accepts up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz, and from H.264 streaming sources. The streaming decoder supports H.264 and H.265 with AAC stereo audio. Interlaced video is not supported.

It can be powered by PoE+ as an IEEE 802.3at Class 4 powered device, or by the PW-2412WU power pack, which is sold separately and supplies 24 VDC at 1.25 A from a 100 to 240 VAC input. Typical power consumption is 14 W.

Yes, via the control system. It has a 2-way RS-232 port up to 115.2k baud with hardware and software handshaking, and an IR/serial port for 1-way display control by infrared up to 1.1 MHz or serial TTL/RS-232 up to 19200 baud. The HDMI output also supports CEC.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DGE-1000 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DGE-1000 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
