About the Crestron TSW-880

The TSW-880 has an 8.1 in. (204 mm) widescreen colour display at 1280 x 800 (WXGA), with projected capacitive 5 point multitouch, 350 to 400 nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast and automatic brightness control. Six virtual buttons sit in a collapsible tool bar with per-button show or hide. The screen runs custom Crestron HTML5 projects of up to 1000 MB, backed by 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 40 GB of eMMC pSLC storage, and includes web browsing.

Native apps cover Crestron Home OS and room scheduling, with support for Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft 365, Google Calendar and G Suite, CollegeNET 25Live and various third-party scheduling applications. The TSW-880 can show live H.265, H.264 or MJPEG video from an IP camera or a streaming encoder such as the Crestron DM-TXRX-100-STR, delivered over Ethernet so no extra video wiring is needed. Built-in speakers, a microphone and a Rava SIP intercom are included.

Power comes from PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at Type 2), and the screen requests 30 W (PoE+ Class 4) from a Type 2 PSE without LLDP. Networking is 1000 Mbps Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6E on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, with Bluetooth 5.2 BLE. It surface mounts over a 2-gang DIN 49073 or BS 4662 electrical box, among other box types, and measures 124 mm high, 201 mm wide and 30 mm deep.
