About the Crestron TS-1080

The 10.1 in. (257 mm) screen runs at 1920 x 1200, with brightness from 350 to 400 nits, automatic brightness control and 5-point multitouch. Six virtual buttons in a collapsible toolbar can be shown or hidden individually. Built-in speakers and a microphone support the Rava SIP intercom, and web browsing is built in.

The TS-1080 can show live H.265, H.264 or MJPEG video from an IP camera or a streaming encoder such as the Crestron DM-TXRX-100-STR, delivered over the network with no separate video cabling. It connects by 1000 Mbps Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6E on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, and it has Bluetooth 5.2 (BLE). With 8 GB of RAM and 40 GB of storage, it takes custom projects up to 1000 MB.

Power comes over Ethernet: without LLDP the panel requests 30 W (PoE+ Class 4) from an 802.3at Type 2 source. For room scheduling it supports Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft 365, Google Calendar and G Suite, CollegeNET 25Live and various third-party apps. What is the Crestron TS-1080?

What is the difference between the TS-1080-B, TS-1080-W and TS-1080-GV-B?

The TS-1080-B is black and the TS-1080-W is white. The TS-1080-GV-B is the part Crestron lists as the Government Version. When replacing a panel, check the part number of the existing unit so the colour and version match.

How is the TS-1080 powered?

It is powered over Ethernet as an IEEE 802.3at Type 2 PoE+ powered device. Without LLDP power management it requests 30 W (PoE+ Class 4) from an 802.3at Type 2 power source. The same cable carries 1000 Mbps data, and Wi-Fi 6E is also available for the network connection.

Can the TS-1080 show camera video?

Yes. It natively supports H.265, H.264 and MJPEG, so it can display live video from an IP camera or a streaming encoder such as the Crestron DM-TXRX-100-STR. The video reaches the touch screen over Ethernet, so no extra video wiring is needed.

Which room scheduling services does the TS-1080 support?

The Crestron Scheduling App works with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft 365, Google Calendar and G Suite, and CollegeNET 25Live, and various third-party scheduling apps are also supported. A USB 2.0 host port is provided for room scheduling accessories.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the TS-1080 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Does the TS-1080 come with a warranty?

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the TS-1080 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Is the TS-1080 in stock?

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Can I buy the TS-1080 without installation?

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
