Crestron CHV-RTHS Remote Temperature and Relative Humidity Sensor

It is a wall-mounted remote sensor that measures temperature and relative humidity for select Crestron thermostats. The 39 mm face protrudes only about 3 mm from the wall, and its primed metal cap can be painted or wallpapered to blend in with the surface.

Temperature tolerance is ±1°F (±0.5°C) over the full range and ±1°F (+0.1/-0.4°C) at room temperatures. Humidity tolerance is ±5%. It measures indoor temperatures from -18 to 43°C, outdoor temperatures from -35 to 49°C and humidity from 0% to 100% RH.

Up to 500 ft (152 m), using CAT5 or similar low-capacitance wire. It connects through a single non-polarised twisted pair, and the sensor has a 10 in (254 mm) 2-wire twisted-pair pigtail for the connection.

The MMK-RS is a pre-construction mounting kit, sold separately. It simplifies wiring and positioning of the sensor during the rough-in stage of construction, and it gives the option of mounting the sensor completely flush so it is almost hidden on the wall.

It uses one-piece mounting in drywall through a 1 in (26 mm) round hole and protrudes about 1/8 in (3 mm) from the wall. A flush drywall mount is also listed. The cylindrical plastic body is 39 mm in diameter and 57 mm deep.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CHV-RTHS on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CHV-RTHS develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
