Crestron C2N-UNI8IO Universal Keypad Interface for Cresnet

It is a universal keypad interface. It links a third-party keypad straight to the Cresnet control network, so the keypad works as a Cresnet device, and it handles up to 8 buttons and indicators and up to 8 feedback LEDs.

Yes. Its inputs read contact closures, so almost any button or switch can be brought onto Cresnet this way. Crestron gives door sensors as an example, used to give the control system an indication of entry.

Its 8 low-voltage outputs will drive LEDs, relay coils or lamps. For LEDs it can produce various light intensities and blinking patterns, so a third-party keypad can show feedback such as which source or lighting scene is selected.

The interface is low profile, so it can sit directly inside a 55 mm electrical box or another enclosure of suitable size. From there it connects to the Cresnet control network, which uses a low-voltage, 4-wire bus.

It connects over Cresnet, a low-voltage 4-wire bus. Devices are daisy chained along the bus, so more can be added now or later. Once connected, the third-party keypad or switch acts as a Cresnet device in the Crestron control system.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the C2N-UNI8IO on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the C2N-UNI8IO develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
