Crestron C2N-IO Control Port Expansion Module, RS-232, IR and Relays

It is Crestron's Control Port Expansion Module, a very compact outboard unit that gives a Crestron control system, including a touch screen control system, extra control ports. It connects over the Cresnet control network and fits within a 2-gang wall box.

Crestron lists it as compatible with any Crestron 2-Series, 3-Series or 4-Series control system. It interfaces through the Cresnet control bus, and Crestron also describes it as a way to add control ports to a Crestron touch screen control system.

It is powered at 24 VDC from the Cresnet control network, which is also how it communicates with the control system. That means its Cresnet connection handles both power and control for the module.

Yes. It is very compact and fits within a 2-gang wall box. It can instead be fixed to any flat surface with two screws or the supplied 3M Dual Lock adhesive reclosable fastener, and a surface mount bracket comes with it.

It provides one RS-232 port, one IR/serial port and two relay ports. The control system reaches these ports through the module's Cresnet connection, so they act as additional control ports for the Crestron 2-Series, 3-Series or 4-Series system.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the C2N-IO on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the C2N-IO develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
