Crestron ZUMMESH-JBOX-20A-PLUG Zūm Wireless 20A Plug Load Controller

It is a Zūm wireless J-Box load controller with a plug load switch. It mounts to a 4 in. square junction box, uses zero cross switching to control 20A plug loads, and pairs with Zūm keypads and occupancy, vacancy and daylight sensors over Zūm Mesh as part of a Zūm commercial room lighting system.

Crestron's title lists 100-240V. The specifications give an operating range of 100-250VAC, 50/60 Hz, for the plug model, with a UL rating of 125/250VAC per UL 498. The load rating is 20A, or 16A derated by 80%, with high inrush, zero cross switching.

Both are 20A Zūm wireless J-Box controllers with zero cross switching, the same housing and the same expansion port. The ZUMMESH-JBOX-20A-PLUG is the plug load version with its own voltage rating, while the ZUMMESH-JBOX-20A-SW is the high inrush switch for 100-277V lighting loads.

It accepts a ZUMMESH-NETBRIDGE, sold separately, which provides Zūm Net wireless communications, or a ZUMMESH-CCO, which adds a low-voltage contact closure output for HVAC integration. Zūm Net range is 50 ft (15 m) to a Zūm Net wireless gateway or the nearest Zūm Net mesh device.

A 1/2 in. conduit knockout fixes it to the side of a 4 in. square junction box, and it projects 93 mm (3.66 in) from the box. It meets the requirements of UL 2043, measures 83 mm high, 106 mm wide and 34 mm deep, and uses 14 AWG flying leads for line, neutral and the switched load.
