Crestron ZUMLINK-JBOX-20A High Inrush Switch J-Box Load Controller

It is a Zūm wired J-Box load controller with a high inrush switch and Zūm Link communication. It mounts on a 4 in. square junction box and uses zero cross switching to control lighting loads of up to 20A at 100-277V, working with Zūm keypads and sensors in the same room.

No, it is a switching controller and has no 0-10V dimming leads; its connections are line, neutral and a power monitoring output. For 0-10V dimming, the ZUMLINK-JBOX-16A-LV adds a 0-10V output alongside 16A switching, and the ZUMLINK-JBOX-20A-PLUG is the 20A version for plug loads.

It is rated 20A at 100-277VAC, 50/60 Hz, for high inrush loads with zero-cross switching, and 0.5 HP at 120-277VAC. Load types include LED, electronic ballasts, incandescent, magnetic low-voltage, electronic low-voltage, neon/cold cathode and high-intensity discharge lighting.

Two RJ-45 Zūm Link ports daisy-chain it with other Zūm wired devices, and it supplies 85mA to Zūm Link devices such as ZUMLINK-KP keypads. Spring clamp inputs accept an occupancy sensor, a photo sensor and an override contact, each terminal taking one 20-24 AWG solid wire. Sensors and keypads are sold separately.

The controller fixes to the side of a standard 4 in. square junction box using a 1/2 in. conduit knockout. Its white plastic housing carries a UL 94 5VA flame rating and meets UL 2043 requirements. It measures 123 mm high, 108 mm wide and 52 mm deep, and weighs 199 g (7 oz).
