About the Crestron UC-AUDIO-1-B-DR2
The pod is a tabletop speaker and microphone with a 2 in. full range driver (100 Hz to 7 kHz, 74 dB SPL at 1 m) and a 360° quad microphone array with about 2.3 m pickup. Acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control and dynamic noise suppression give full-duplex audio. Backlit capacitive buttons handle volume and mic mute, with green, red and white LEDs showing mute state and volume.
The hub links to the pod over DECT and sends and receives audio to a UC Engine through a USB-C connection, which also carries HID data. The system can be expanded to four pods on one hub. This DR2 kit uses the 1880 to 1900 MHz band with 10 channels. Crestron also makes a DR1 kit for the 1920 to 1930 MHz band, so check the DR version on existing units when adding to a system.
The pod is powered through USB-C at 5 VDC, 3 A from an included 100 to 240 VAC power pack, and the hub takes 24 VDC, 0.75 A from its own included power pack; the hub also has a 1000 Mbps Ethernet port listed as a 4 W, Class 0 PoE powered device. The pod is tabletop only, with a Kensington security slot, while the hub can stand free, stack, surface mount or go on a wall or ceiling with a bracket.
