About the Crestron UC-AUDIO-POD-B-DR2
Each pod has a 2 in. full range speaker (100 Hz to 7 kHz, 74 dB SPL at 1 m) and a 360° quad microphone array with a pickup range of about 2.3 m. Built-in acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control and dynamic noise suppression provide full-duplex, echo-free two-way voice. Because the link is wireless, the pod can sit anywhere on the conference table.
Up to four pods can connect wirelessly to one hub, which sends and receives audio to a UC Engine through a USB-C connection. This is the DR2 version, working in the 1880 to 1900 MHz band with 10 channels; the DR1 version uses 1920 to 1930 MHz, so check the DR version of the hub before adding or replacing a pod. Pairing uses a push button, and there is a recessed reset button.
Backlit capacitive buttons control speaker volume and mic mute during a call. A green LED shows the microphone is unmuted, red shows it is muted and white LEDs show the volume level. The pod is powered through USB-C at 5 VDC, 3 A from an included 100 to 240 VAC power pack. It is tabletop only, with a Kensington security slot, and measures 76 mm high by 112 mm wide and deep.
