Crestron GLA-LDL-PC-0-10-WL Dual-Loop Photosensor, Wet Location

It is a dual-loop photosensor that mounts on the ceiling and continually measures the ambient light from all light sources. It works in both open-loop and closed-loop daylight harvesting applications, so electric lighting can be dimmed when natural daylight is available, and it has a 0 to 10 VDC analogue control output.

Yes. It is suitable for indoor, outdoor and wet locations. The housing is high-impact injection-moulded plastic with an IP54 rating, the operating range is -40°C to 70°C, and the sensor can be surface or flush mounted directly to drywall or drop-tile.

The sensor interfaces with a control system over the Cresnet network or through an analogue input. Cresnet communication requires a GLS-SIM or ZUMMESH-JBOX-SIM, both sold separately. It is wired with flying leads for 24 VDC power, ground and the output signal, and 18 AWG wire is recommended.

Closed-loop sensitivity is 3 to 300 fc. Open-loop has three ranges: 3 to 300 fc, which is the factory setting, 30 to 3000 fc and 60 to 6000 fc. The field of view is a 60° cone, with the centre axis at 90° for closed-loop and 45° for open-loop.

Both part numbers are the same dual-loop wet location photosensor. GLA-LDL-PC-0-10-WL-B is black and GLA-LDL-PC-0-10-WL-W is white, so the choice comes down to the ceiling finish or to matching an existing sensor on site.
