Crestron GLA-IR-WLS-DIM 0-10 V PIR Wall Switch Occupancy Sensor

It is the STEINEL IR WLS DIM, a wall switch occupancy sensor offered by Crestron. It detects occupants with passive infrared (PIR), switches line voltage lighting and adds 0-10 V dimming. It is intended for commercial spaces such as small offices, conference rooms, storage closets and break rooms.

It performs most reliably in enclosed spaces no larger than 18 x 15 ft. At a 1.2 m (4 ft) mounting height, minor motion coverage reaches 6.5 x 5.5 m (36 sq m) and radial coverage up to 7 m. PIR works well where the sensor has a clear view of the occupants.

It runs on 120/230/277 VAC at 50/60 Hz. The load rating is 0-800 W for tungsten, magnetic or electronic ballast loads and 0-600 W for CFL or LED loads, with 1/6 hp also listed. The dimming output is given as 1-10 volt at 50 mA, for up to 25 electronic dimming ballasts or drivers.

Yes. Switch Link communication allows up to four sensors to be grouped together. Each sensor also has IQ Mode, which adjusts the ON time delay by learning how the room is occupied, or it can use the 5, 15 or 30 minute time settings instead.

It mounts in a single-gang NEMA-style standard switch box and takes a decorator-style wall plate, which is supplied by others. The sensor measures 105 x 44.1 x 46.5 mm (L x W x D) and is IP20 rated for use from 0°C to +40°C.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the GLA-IR-WLS-DIM on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
