Crestron GLA-SMART-REMOTE STEINEL Smart Remote Commissioning Tool

It is the STEINEL Smart Remote, a commissioning tool offered by Crestron. It lets the person commissioning the system set the basic functions of the whole STEINEL Control Pro Series of sensors by remote control, using a free iOS or Android app that connects to the Smart Remote over Bluetooth.

Crestron describes it as a tool for setting the basic functions of the entire Control Pro Series of STEINEL sensors, and as a universal IR remote for that range. Check that the sensors on site are Control Pro Series models before relying on it for commissioning.

The Smart Remote app is free for iOS and Android and runs on a smartphone or tablet. The phone or tablet connects to the Smart Remote over Bluetooth, and the app is then used to set sensor functions and to load and save setting profiles.

Yes. The Smart Remote can load and save setting profiles through the app. This means a set of sensor settings can be stored once and loaded again later, rather than being entered from scratch each time a Control Pro Series sensor is commissioned.

STEINEL products, including the Smart Remote, are covered by Steinel's 5 year warranty, and Crestron provides no further warranty. Crestron provides service and support to Crestron authorised dealers that bought the STEINEL products through Crestron.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the GLA-SMART-REMOTE on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the GLA-SMART-REMOTE develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
