Crestron GLA-IR-QUATTRO-HD-COM1-24 STEINEL HD PIR Presence Detector

It is the STEINEL IR Quattro HD COM1-24, a low voltage, high definition passive infrared presence detector offered by Crestron for lighting control. It uses four pyroelectric detectors and a high performance lens system with 4800 switching zones.

Crestron describes it as a high definition passive infrared detector because it uses four pyroelectric detectors with a high performance lens system to create 4800 switching zones. That gives what Crestron calls extremely high definition PIR presence detection, needing only minimal movement.

It is a low voltage sensor that runs on 18-24 VDC/VAC and is listed for use with a power pack or building automation system. It offers manual ON or automatic ON, with a momentary or maintained switch option.

It mounts to a 4-inch square box, a 4-inch octagon box or a round 3.0 mud-ring, or directly to the ceiling with quick mount spring tabs. A wireless remote commissioning set up tool and a user wireless remote are available.

Crestron notes that the COM2-24 versions in the Control PRO group control HVAC as well as lighting, and that DIM-24 versions offer optional 1-10 volt dimming and daylighting. This COM1-24 model is described for lighting control.
