Crestron ZUMNET-GATEWAY Zum Net Wireless Gateway for Zum Lighting

It is the Zum Net Wireless Gateway, a 2-way RF transceiver for Zum Net wireless devices. It enables wireless communication between a Zum Hub and rooms fitted with a Zum Network Bridge (ZUMMESH-NETBRIDGE), relaying control between the rooms and the hub. One gateway serves a single Zum Hub.

Each gateway supports up to 50 Zum Network Bridges and works with Crestron Zum Net wireless devices only. Range to the nearest Zum Net mesh device is 31 m (100 ft), subject to site conditions, and the channel is selected automatically from 2.4 GHz channels 15, 20, 25 and 26.

It is a PoE powered device (IEEE 802.3at Type 1, 802.3af compatible, Class 1) connected through its LAN PoE port. As an alternative, it can run from the optional PW-2407WU 24VDC power pack, sold separately, using the 2.1 x 5.5 mm DC connector. Typical power consumption is 2.1 W.

It uses Crestron's compact IFE small enclosure and can be freestanding, surface mounted or fitted to 35 mm DIN EN 60715 rail with the included bracket, occupying 8 DIN module spaces (144 mm). Crestron also lists rack mount and pole mount options. Without the bracket it measures 35 mm high, 128 mm wide and 133 mm deep.

The recessed ACQUIRE button sets up connections with wireless devices, and the SETUP button sets up the connection with the Zum Hub over Ethernet; both have red LEDs. There is also a recessed RESET button. Green LEDs show power and wireless activity, and green and amber LEDs show Ethernet link and activity.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the ZUMNET-GATEWAY on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the ZUMNET-GATEWAY develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
