Crestron ZUMMESH-DELV Zūm Wireless ELV Wall-Box Dimmer, White

It is a Zūm wireless ELV wall-box dimmer in white smooth finish. It controls a single 120-277V lighting load of up to 500 W using reverse phase dimming, with one rocker for on, off and dimming, and it communicates with other Zūm devices over Zūm Mesh wireless in a Zūm commercial lighting system.

Crestron lists dimmable electronic low-voltage loads (halogen or LED), incandescent, tungsten-halogen, electronic CFL and 2-wire fluorescent ballasts. It uses reverse phase dimming and is rated 500 W at 120-277VAC. For magnetic low-voltage loads, the ZUMMESH-DIM is the forward phase wireless wall-box dimmer in the same range.

It is pre-programmed for pair and play with Zūm occupancy, vacancy and daylight sensors. Once the room is set up with a few quick button taps, lights turn off automatically when the room is vacant and dim gradually according to the natural daylight, keeping a consistent light level while using less energy.

No. Zūm Mesh devices talk to each other directly over a peer-to-peer 2.4 GHz mesh, with nearly every device relaying commands as a routing node, so the dimmer needs no physical control wiring, hubs or gateways to reach the sensors in the room. It can be part of a standalone or networked Zūm system.
