Crestron ZUMLINK-US-QUATTRO-DLS Ultrasonic Presence Detector

It is a STEINEL ultrasonic presence detector with daylight sensing and Zūm Link communication, part of the Zūm wired lighting control range. It mounts in the ceiling, detects presence with omnidirectional ultrasonic sensing across 360°, measures daylight with a closed loop sensor and takes its power from the Zūm Link bus.

Coverage is 360°. For major motion as described by NEMA WD7, Crestron lists a maximum detection zone of 40 x 50 ft (2,000 sq ft), or 12 x 15 m (180 sq m). Detection is by omnidirectional ultrasonic sensing at 40 kHz, and daylight is measured with a 10 to 1000 lux setting.

No. This model offers presence detection and daylight sensing but has no output relay. The ZUMLINK-US-QUATTRO-DLS-RLY is the version with an additional relay for HVAC control or another relay-input capable device, offering normally open, normally closed and common connections with a control output rated 1A at 30VAC/VDC.

The Zūm Link bus powers it, and maximum current consumption is 28 mA. Two orange RJ-45 Zūm Link ports connect it to load controllers, keypads and other Zūm wired devices in the room over CBL-CAT5E-ZUMLINK-P CAT5e cable, sold separately, with up to 750mA of pass-through current.

The plastic sensor mounts directly in the ceiling, in a 4 in. square or round junction box, or on a 3 in. mud ring; none of these are included. It measures 121 mm by 121 mm with a depth of 68 mm, is IP20 rated and operates from 0° to 40°C.

We can supply the ZUMLINK-US-QUATTRO-DLS on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the ZUMLINK-US-QUATTRO-DLS develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
