Crestron ZUMLINK-US-HALLWAY-DLS-RLY Hallway Presence Sensor with Relay

It is a STEINEL ultrasonic dual-direction hallway presence detector with daylight sensing, HVAC control and Zūm Link communication for Zūm wired lighting control. It mounts in the ceiling, covers a linear pattern engineered for hallways, measures daylight with a closed loop sensor and has an output relay for a relay-input capable device.

It lets the detector switch a relay-input capable device, and Crestron's title for this model lists HVAC control. The relay offers normally open, normally closed and common connections, and the control output is rated 1A at 30VAC/VDC. The ZUMLINK-US-HALLWAY-DLS is the same hallway detector without the relay.

It has a 6.5 x 65 ft linear coverage pattern using bidirectional ultrasonic sensing at 40 kHz. Detection zones run from a minimum of 40 x 20 ft (800 sq ft), or 12 x 6 m (72 sq m), to a maximum of 50 x 20 ft (1,000 sq ft), or 15 x 6 m (90 sq m).

Power comes from the Zūm Link bus, with a maximum current consumption of 28 mA. Its two orange RJ-45 Zūm Link ports take CBL-CAT5E-ZUMLINK-P CAT5e cable, sold separately, to reach load controllers, keypads and other Zūm wired devices in the room. Pass-through current is up to 750mA.

It is a ceiling device that mounts directly in the ceiling, in a 4 in. square or round junction box, or on a 3 in. mud ring, none of which are supplied. The plastic housing is 121 mm by 121 mm and 72 mm deep, rated IP20, and designed for temperatures from 0° to 40°C.
