Crestron ZUMLINK-IR-QUATTRO-DLS-RLY PIR Presence Detector with Relay

It is a STEINEL infrared presence detector with daylight sensing, HVAC control and Zūm Link communication for Zūm wired lighting control. It mounts in the ceiling, detects presence by passive infrared across a 360° pattern, measures daylight with a closed loop sensor, and has an output relay for a relay-input capable device.

The relay lets the sensor control a relay-input capable device, and Crestron's title for this model lists HVAC control. It has normally open, normally closed and common connections, and the control output is rated 1A at 30VAC/VDC. The ZUMLINK-IR-QUATTRO-DLS is the equivalent detector without the relay.

Coverage is 360°, using square detection zones that can be scaled mechanically. Crestron lists a maximum zone of 30 x 30 ft (900 sq ft) for major motion as described by NEMA WD7, from a single infrared pyroelectric detector. For daylight, the light level setting runs from 10 to 1000 lux (1 to 100 fc).

Power comes from the Zūm Link bus, with a maximum current consumption of 17 mA. Two orange RJ-45 Zūm Link ports connect it to other Zūm wired devices in the room, such as load controllers and keypads, using CBL-CAT5E-ZUMLINK-P CAT5e cable, sold separately. Up to 750mA can pass through the ports.

The plastic sensor mounts directly in the ceiling, in a 4 in. square or round junction box, or on a 3 in. mud ring; the boxes and rings are not included. It is 121 mm by 121 mm and 77 mm deep, rated IP20, and designed for temperatures from 0° to 40°C.
