Crestron ZUMLINK-IR-QUATTRO-DLS Infrared Presence and Daylight Sensor

It is a STEINEL passive infrared presence detector with daylight sensing and Zūm Link communication, designed for Zūm wired lighting control. It mounts in the ceiling, covers a 360° pattern, measures daylight with a closed loop sensor and takes its power from the Zūm Link bus.

Crestron's product title calls it a high-definition infrared detector, but its specifications list a single infrared pyroelectric detector and a maximum zone of 30 x 30 ft (900 sq ft). The ZUMLINK-IR-QUATTRO-HD-DLS is specified with four detectors and up to 50 x 50 ft (2,500 sq ft), so check the part number on the unit you are replacing.

No. This version provides presence detection and daylight sensing only. The Zūm Link presence detectors with -RLY at the end of the part number include an additional relay for HVAC control or another relay-input capable device. If the unit you are replacing switches an HVAC input, choose the -RLY equivalent.

It is powered from the Zūm Link bus with a maximum current consumption of 17 mA. Two orange RJ-45 Zūm Link ports connect it to other Zūm wired devices in the room, such as load controllers and keypads, using CBL-CAT5E-ZUMLINK-P CAT5e cable, which is sold separately. Up to 750mA can pass through for daisy-chaining.

Mounting options are directly in the ceiling, in a 4 in. square or round junction box, or on a 3 in. mud ring, with boxes and rings not included. The plastic sensor is 121 mm square with a depth of 77 mm, is IP20 rated and operates from 0° to 40°C.

We can supply the ZUMLINK-IR-QUATTRO-DLS on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
