Crestron ZUMLINK-EXP-16A-DIMU 16A Universal Dimmer Load Controller

It is the Zūm Wired Universal Dimmer Load Controller, a single-channel module that adds 16A universal phase control dimming to a wired Zūm commercial lighting system. It dims LED, incandescent, electronic low-voltage, magnetic low-voltage, neon/cold cathode and 2-wire fluorescent loads, and connects to other Zūm devices over Zūm Link.

By default it detects the load and picks the mode automatically: reverse phase (trailing edge) for incandescent and electronic low-voltage loads, and forward phase (leading edge) for loads such as LED and magnetic low-voltage. A DIM MODE button behind the cover also lets you set reverse, forward or centre phase manually, and front LEDs show which mode is active.

Crestron's zero-cross filter technology improves the dimmer's immunity to power line noise, so it stays stable on noisy supplies and lamp flicker is reduced. Filtered detection is the default. A ZEROCROSS FILTER button behind the cover switches to basic detection if needed, and green BASIC and FILTER LEDs show which mode is in use.

It has a surface mountable NEMA Type 1 enclosure that must be fitted upright on a vertical surface, with at least 6 in. (153 mm) of space above and below. It can be mounted on a wall panel or above a suspended ceiling, as it meets UL 2043 for plenum spaces. Conduit knockouts are on the bottom and lower sides.

Two orange RJ-45 Zūm Link ports allow in-room daisy-chaining with Zūm keypads, sensors and other wired devices using CBL-CAT5E-ZUMLINK-P CAT5e cable, sold separately. Adding occupancy, vacancy or daylight sensors, also sold separately, lets the lights turn off automatically when the room is empty and dim gradually with the natural daylight.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the ZUMLINK-EXP-16A-DIMU on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the ZUMLINK-EXP-16A-DIMU develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
