Crestron ZUMLINK-DT-QUATTRO-DLS-RLY Dual-Tech Sensor with Relay

It is a STEINEL dual-tech presence detector with daylight sensing and Zūm Link communication, made for Zūm wired lighting control. It mounts in the ceiling, detects presence with passive infrared and ultrasonic sensing, measures daylight with a closed loop sensor, and includes an output relay for HVAC control or another relay-input capable device.

The -RLY models include an additional output relay for a relay-input capable device, which Crestron's title for this model describes as HVAC control. The relay has normally open, normally closed and common connections, and the control output is rated 1A at 30VAC/VDC. Versions without -RLY provide presence detection and daylight sensing only.

It is powered from the Zūm Link bus and draws a maximum of 28 mA. Two orange RJ-45 Zūm Link ports let it be daisy-chained with other Zūm wired devices in the room using CBL-CAT5E-ZUMLINK-P CAT5e cable, which is sold separately. The ports allow up to 750mA pass-through current.

It has a 360° coverage pattern. For major motion as described by NEMA WD7, Crestron lists a maximum passive infrared zone of 50 x 40 ft (2,000 sq ft), or 15 x 12 m (180 sq m), and a maximum ultrasonic zone of 40 x 30 ft. The ultrasonic element works at 40 kHz.

The plastic detector mounts directly in the ceiling, in a 4 in. square or round junction box, or on a 3 in. mud ring; the boxes and rings are not included. It measures 121 mm by 121 mm and 67 mm deep, is IP20 rated, and is designed for 0° to 40°C.

Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
