Crestron ZUMLINK-DT-QUATTRO-DLS Dual-Tech Presence Detector for Zum

It is a STEINEL dual technology presence detector with Zum Link wired communication, offered by Crestron for Zum wired lighting control. It mounts on the ceiling, combines passive infrared and ultrasonic detection with a built-in daylight sensor, and uses presence and daylight levels to reduce energy use.

It has a 360° coverage pattern. Crestron gives a maximum passive infrared detection area of 15 x 12 m (180 sq m) and a maximum ultrasonic area of 40 x 30 ft for major motion. Ultrasonic sensing runs at 40 kHz, and PIR uses a single infrared pyroelectric detector.

The detector has a built-in closed loop daylight sensor with a light level setting from 10 to 1,000 lux (1 to 100 fc). Combined with presence detection, it lets a Zum wired lighting system use available daylight and occupancy to save energy.

It communicates over the Zum Link network through two orange RJ45 ports, which also allow daisy-chaining with other in-room Zum devices using CBL-CAT5E-ZUMLINK-P cable, sold separately. It draws 28 mA from the Zum Link bus and is compatible with the Zum wired keypad.

It mounts directly in the ceiling, in a 4 in. square or round junction box, or on a 3 in. mud ring; boxes and rings are not included. The plastic housing measures 121 mm by 121 mm and 67 mm deep, is rated IP20 and operates at 0° to 40°C.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the ZUMLINK-DT-QUATTRO-DLS on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the ZUMLINK-DT-QUATTRO-DLS develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
