About the Crestron ZUMLINK-DIN-DIMU
The module is rated 500 W or 500 VA at 100 to 120 VAC and 1,000 W or 1,000 VA at 220 to 277 VAC. It detects the load type automatically, or a DIM MODE button selects forward, reverse or centre phase dimming, with LEDs showing the active mode. Supported loads are incandescent, LED, electronic low-voltage, magnetic low-voltage, neon/cold cathode and 2-wire fluorescent.
Crestron's zero-cross filter technology gives the dimmer immunity to power line noise, which reduces lamp flicker and keeps dimming stable under noisy power line conditions. Two RJ45 Zum Link ports daisy-chain the module with other in-room Zum devices, and spring clamp inputs accept an occupancy sensor, a photo sensor and an override contact closure.
The module mounts on DIN rail in a NEMA Type 1 enclosure and measures 94 mm high, 53 mm wide and 59 mm deep. Crestron rates the in-cabinet air temperature at 0° to 50°C for its DIN-EN series enclosures or similar, and says third-party enclosures are supported, with details from Crestron. Line connections use a 3-pin neutral, line and dimmed output terminal block.
