Crestron ULTIMATE IC3-AW-SA-TWEETER All Weather In-Ceiling Tweeter

It is the tweeter module of the Crestron Ultimate IC3 all weather in-ceiling speaker, made by Origin Acoustics and sold singly. It is supplied separately so it can be added after ceiling construction is complete, and its aperture resembles 3.5 in. (89 mm) designer lighting.

The woofer, back box, spacers and grille are sold separately as the ULTIMATE IC3-AW-SA-BOX-WOOFER-W-T-EACH, and Crestron states they are required for a complete ULTIMATE IC3-AW speaker. The ULTIMATE IC3-SA-WOOFER/TWEETER-W-T-KIT includes all the components in one kit.

It is IP66 rated for particles and water when fully fitted into the IC3-AW woofer and back box section. The module has a cast aluminium enclosure and an operating range of -15.5° to 80°C and 10% to 95% relative humidity, non-condensing.

Crestron designed the tweeter module to resemble 3.5 in. (89 mm) designer lighting, so it blends into the ceiling alongside an LFX-DL-TUNC for a uniform appearance. The module itself is 141 mm high and 72 mm in diameter and weighs 0.24 kg.

It uses a 2 in. (51 mm) wide band ceramic coated aluminium cone neodymium transducer with a 200 Hz crossover point. Response is 200 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB), power handling 75 W RMS and 200 W peak, maximum SPL 102 dB programme and 107 dB peak, and impedance 8 ohms nominal.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the ULTIMATE IC3-AW-SA-TWEETER on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the ULTIMATE IC3-AW-SA-TWEETER develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
