Crestron AMP-X50MP X-Series Media Presentation Amplifier, 50 W

No. It has a compact, surface-mountable design, so it can be freestanding or surface mounted without an equipment rack. It can also be fitted in a 19-inch rack as a quarter-width 1 RU unit, and it gangs with other Crestron modular and X-Series products.

It runs from an external 60 W desktop power supply rated at 24 VDC, 2.5 A, which is included and accepts 100 to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. The supply connects with a locking barrel connector. Power consumption is 14.6 W with two channels at 1/8 output power and 6 W idle in Hi-Z mode.

It has balanced inputs on a 5-pin 3.5 mm terminal block, two unbalanced RCA inputs and an unbalanced 3.5 mm stereo input, with auto summing. A slide switch selects stereo or mono, and mono creates a downmix of the input signals.

Protection covers clip limiting, over current, under voltage, over temperature, DC offset and extreme high frequency, with a red LED for over-temperature or over-current faults. Audio-sensing circuitry gives a fast wake time, and a contact closure on the REMOTE terminal places the amplifier in standby.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the AMP-X50MP on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the AMP-X50MP develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
