About the Crestron TSW-770R

The TSW-770R runs a native Crestron Home OS app on a 7 in. (178 mm) capacitive colour display at 1280 x 800 (WXGA), with 5-point multitouch, 350 nits brightness and automatic brightness control. It also has a native Sonos app. Six virtual buttons sit in a collapsible tool bar and can be shown or hidden one by one, and a pin hole on the rear panel gives a hardware reset.

It has built-in speakers, a microphone and a Rava SIP intercom. The screen decodes H.265, H.264 and MJPEG streams over RTSP at up to 1920x1080 at 30 fps and up to 25 Mbps (20 Mbps recommended), with AAC stereo audio. It connects over 100 Mbps Ethernet or Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4 or 5 GHz, range up to 15 m depending on the site), has dual USB 2.0 ports and offers enterprise grade security and authentication.

A single Ethernet cable carries data and PoE or PoE+ power; as an IEEE 802.3at Type 2 device the screen requests 15 W from a Type 2 PSE with LLDP power management. It surface mounts over a 2-gang DIN 49073 or BS 4662 electrical box, among other box types, and Crestron lists a range of mounting accessories for new and retrofit work, plus Wall-Smart flush mount compatibility. It measures 106 mm high, 173 mm wide and 51 mm deep.
