About the Crestron TSW-1070

The 10.1 in. (257 mm) screen runs at 1920 x 1200 with 400 nits brightness, automatic brightness control and 5-point multitouch, and six virtual buttons sit in a collapsible toolbar. Built-in speakers and a microphone provide the Rava SIP intercom and voice recognition, so spoken commands can turn devices on or off, pick a source, choose a lighting scene or lock the doors.

It supports the Crestron ONE mobile app, which links a mobile device to the TSW-1070 over Bluetooth so room controls can be pushed to it. Security includes 802.1X authentication, TLS encryption, HTTPS and Active Directory integration. The panel connects by 100 Mbps Ethernet with PoE+ power or by 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and displays H.265, H.264 or MJPEG streaming video.

Its Crestron Scheduling App supports Crestron Fusion, Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365, Google Calendar and CollegeNET 25Live. The TSW-1070 surface mounts over standard electrical boxes, including 2-gang BS 4662 and DIN 49073 boxes, and is also compatible with Wall-Smart flush wall mounting accessories. It measures 149 mm high, 240 mm wide and 51 mm deep. Black smooth and white smooth finishes are listed, each with a Government Version.

The TSW-1070-B-S is black smooth and the TSW-1070-W-S is white smooth. The TSW-1070-GV-B-S and TSW-1070-GV-W-S are the Government Version in the same finishes. When replacing a panel, match the part number of the existing unit so the finish and version are the same.

How is the TSW-1070 powered and mounted?

It is a PoE+ powered device (IEEE 802.3at Type 2) that normally requests 15 W from an 802.3at Type 2 source using LLDP. It surface mounts over standard electrical boxes, including 2-gang BS 4662 and DIN 49073 boxes, and works with Wall-Smart flush wall mounting accessories.

Does the TSW-1070 work with the Crestron ONE app?

Yes. The TSW-1070 is compatible with the Crestron ONE mobile room control app, which creates a peer-to-peer Bluetooth connection between a mobile device and the touch screen in the room. Mobile-optimised room controls can then be pushed from the panel to that device.

What security features does it have?

Crestron lists enterprise grade networking on the TSW-1070 series, with 802.1X authentication, TLS encryption, HTTPS connectivity and Active Directory service integration. These features are there to protect the network from service interruptions and intrusions.

Does the TSW-1070 come with a warranty?

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the TSW-1070 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
