About the Crestron SAROS PD8T

A pendant speaker is hung from above rather than set into a ceiling or fixed to a wall. The SAROS PD8T is the 8 in. size in the Saros pendant line-up, alongside the 4 in. SAROS PD4T and the 6.5 in. SAROS PD6T. As a 2-way design, it shares the sound between two drivers, one for the lower frequencies and one for the higher frequencies.

Each part number is a single speaker, and Crestron's descriptions show the two versions differing only in finish, black textured or white textured. When replacing a speaker or adding to an existing room, check the full part number on one of the speakers already in place so that the size and finish match.
