Crestron GLXX-HDSW8 8 Channel Heavy Duty Switch Module

It is an 8 channel heavy duty switch module from the Crestron Green Light Express range. The GLXX-HDSW8 is a switching module chassis that provides up to 8 channels of heavy duty power switching, and it forms part of a complete Crestron engineered GLPX Green Light Express panel.

The chassis requires heavy duty relays to switch its channels: the GLR-HD-1P for single pole switching or the GLR-HD-2P for double pole switching. Each channel that is in use needs one of these relays fitted before it can switch a load.

Each channel has a load rating of 20 Amp and 1.5 HP. The module supports loads up to 480 Volts, including 2-pole motor loads, and there is a positive air gap at each output. It is built for heavy duty power switching in Green Light commercial lighting systems.

Yes. The module has a modular design that allows relays to be added when they are needed. A panel can start with only some channels fitted with relays and have more added later, up to the maximum of 8 heavy duty switching channels in one module.

The GLXX-HDSW8 is part of a complete Crestron engineered GLPX Green Light Express panel and is designed to be housed in a GLEX cabinet. Within that panel it provides the heavy duty switching channels, with a GLR-HD-1P or GLR-HD-2P relay on each channel in use.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the GLXX-HDSW8 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the GLXX-HDSW8 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
