Crestron GLS-PART-CN Cresnet Partition Sensor for Divisible Rooms

It is a Cresnet partition sensor: a compact, surface-mount device that uses an infrared beam to sense the position of movable partitions. It connects to a Crestron control processor over Cresnet, which also powers it, so the system can manage divisible rooms. Crestron designed it with hospitality environments in mind.

It has a sensing distance of up to 4 ft. The infrared beam is adjustable for high accuracy, and a visible LED display indicates the sensor status. The sensor also has plug-in outputs and built-in time delays.

Yes. The 5th pin of its Cresnet connector provides a digital output, either 24 V at 10 mA or a closure to ground. This gives an alternative way to integrate with a Crestron control system or another system, such as through a Versiport input.

It can mount directly into a finished ceiling. In a drop-tile ceiling it fits into a 1-gang electrical box 3-1/2 in. deep. Either way, a decorator-style faceplate can be used to match the colour of the room, and only about 20 mm of the white sensor is visible.

It uses the Cresnet wired network for both power and communications. Cresnet is the flexible 4-wire bus that Crestron uses as the communications backbone for lighting dimmers, keypads, shades, thermostats and many other devices, and it links the sensor to the control processor.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the GLS-PART-CN on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the GLS-PART-CN develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
