Crestron GLS-ODT-C-CN Dual-Technology Occupancy Sensor with Cresnet

It is a low-profile, ceiling-mounted occupancy sensor for large areas of up to 2,000 sq ft. It combines ultrasonic and passive infrared detection and connects to a Crestron control system over Cresnet, so occupancy can drive lighting, climate control and other devices in the room.

Ultrasonic detection is very sensitive to small movements over a large area, while passive infrared sensing gives strong immunity to false triggers. Using both together gives consistent, dependable occupancy sensing across the sensor's 360° coverage pattern.

Both are dual-technology ceiling sensors covering up to 2,000 sq ft. The GLS-ODT-C-CN communicates with a Crestron control system over Cresnet and adds built-in ambient light recognition and an external photosensor input. The GLS-ODT-C-NS is made for standalone lighting systems, connecting to a Versiport or digital input, with a GLS-SIM (sold separately) as its Crestron interface.

Yes. The built-in photosensor detects the ambient light in the room. When this feature is enabled, the sensor can override its occupancy signal so the lights do not switch on if the ambient light is above a set threshold, which keeps them off when there is enough daylight.

Crestron's GLS-REMOTE-ODT/OIR is an IR remote designed for this sensor, and it is sold separately. It carries out full setup functions and adjusts a variety of sensor parameters from beneath the sensor, which removes the need for a ladder. It runs on two AAA batteries, which are included.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the GLS-ODT-C-CN on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the GLS-ODT-C-CN develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
