Crestron GLS-LCCT SolarSync Daylight and Colour Temperature Sensor

It is the SolarSync Outdoor Daylight and Colour Temperature Sensor. It measures the true colour temperature and intensity of natural sunlight or any other light source, so a Crestron lighting control system can regulate indoor lighting to match the actual daylight outdoors. It connects over Cresnet.

It is IP67 rated for rooftop and other outdoor locations, and a single sensor on a building's roof measures the daylight for that building. It is also suitable for a range of indoor applications. It mounts to an electrical junction box or enclosure, not included, through a 1/2 in. conduit knockout.

It measures correlated colour temperature from 2,000K to 25,000K and illuminance from 0 to 100,000 lux, reporting both consistent with CIE 1931. It also reports RGB and HSV values so the detected colour can be recreated. The field of view is 360° semispherical.

It is self-heating to prevent snow and ice building up, and it is IP67 rated, dust tight and waterproof, for -20°C to 85°C. Power consumption is 70 mW typical, rising to a maximum of 4.9 W when the self-heating is running.

It connects to a Crestron lighting control system over Cresnet, working in Cresnet slave mode, and takes 24 VDC power from the Cresnet bus with a Cresnet power usage of 5 W. An attached 0.91 m (3 ft) cable with four colour-coded flying leads makes the connection.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the GLS-LCCT on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the GLS-LCCT develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
