Crestron GLA-IR-QUATTRO-COM2-24 Presence Detector, Lighting and HVAC

It is the STEINEL IR Quattro COM2-24, a low voltage passive infrared presence detector offered by Crestron for lighting and HVAC control. Lighting is controlled by presence and ambient light level, and an HVAC output is signalled by presence only.

It has isolated normally open and normally closed (NO/NC) dry contacts rated 1 A at 30 VAC/VDC, with independent ON and OFF time settings for the HVAC. An Auto-HVAC mode reduces presence detection sensitivity and requires additional detection verification before the HVAC output is signalled.

At 9 ft, Crestron gives presence coverage of up to 4.7 x 4.7 m (22.09 sq m), with 360° square detection zones that can be scaled with the mechanical reach setting. The detector can be mounted at heights from 2.5 to 8 m (8 to 26 ft).

It is a low voltage detector that runs on 18-24 VDC/VAC at 34 mA. Its lighting control output and its HVAC dry contacts are each rated 1 A at 30 VAC/VDC, and it is IP20 rated for 0°C to +40°C.

Yes. COM-Link communication allows up to 10 sensors to be grouped together for peer to peer operation, expanding the detection zone, with the control set up functions set at only one primary sensor. Service and user wireless remotes are also available.
