Crestron GLA-IR-CM-COM1-24 STEINEL PIR Corner Mount Presence Detector

It is the STEINEL IR CM COM1-24, a low voltage passive infrared corner mount presence detector offered by Crestron. It needs only minimal movement to detect a person, and its light level feature can turn the lights off when sufficient daylight is present.

It runs on 18-24 VDC/VAC and is listed for use with a power pack or a building automation system. It offers manual ON or automatic ON, with a momentary or maintained switch option, and ON only or ON and OFF manual switching.

COM-Link communication allows up to 10 sensors to be grouped together for peer to peer operation, expanding the detection zone. The control set up functions for the whole group are set at only one primary sensor.

A pyroelectric detector with a high performance lens system creates 520 switching zones, and Crestron describes the detector as needing only minimal movement for human presence detection. IQ Mode also adjusts the ON time delay by learning individual room occupancy.

Crestron lists offices, conference rooms, classrooms and other indoor public building spaces as typical applications. It is a corner mount detector, and service and user wireless remotes are available to simplify commissioning.
